A Healthy and Delicious Snack: Chocolate Covered Fruits

Sometimes you are craving a fatty, sweet, gooey, pizookie looking, carby smelling, finger licking treat-- with the nutritional value of a celery stick. Sorry to break it to you, but that dessert is still in Beta version at the Willy Wonka Factory. AKA it doesn't exist. #sadlife. Merp.

To cope with this tragedy, I have recently discovered this crazy technology called The Freezer. Besides using the freezer for things my roommates find slightly odd, like freeze washing my jeans to get rid of the bacteria and dirt (don't judge. It's totally a thing. It helps preserve the color and shape!), I am obsessed with flash freezing my fruits in chocolate.

This afternoon snack is not only delicious, but it will also help curb your appetite before your next meal. All you need to do is pop the chocolate covered fruits in the freezer for about 7 minutes. Cold enough for the chocolate to harden, but not too cold for the fruit to freeze completely. Try some of these recipes and tell me which one is your favorite!
